Cub Scout Pack 734 consists of around 30-40 boys from first through fifth grade, mainly from Brown Elementary in Hilliard.  Boys from other schools or homeschoolers are also welcome to join!  Boys become part of a den, which is a small group of about 6-10 boys their own age/grade.  All the dens together form the Pack.

In den meetings (small group meetings held twice a month), scouts work on activities that satisfy age-appropriate requirements for earning their rank, play games, do crafts, go hiking, etc. In pack meetings (large group meetings held once a month), the scouts are recognized for their accomplishments.  In addition, we also do lots of fun pack activities, including the Pinewood Derby where the scouts race cars they have built, hear from interesting speakers such as PT Reptiles or The Turtle Lady, and participate in community service projects.

The organization that sponsors us, also known as our charter organization, is St James Lutheran Church, located at the corner of Trabue Rd and Hilliard-Rome Rd.  Although we are chartered by a Lutheran church, boys of any faith are invited to join our pack.

Pack meetings are usually held at 7:00 pm on the third Friday of each month, except during summer vacation, at St James Lutheran Church.
